There are a number of road closures that will affect GisBus services over the next few weeks. Please take them into account when planning your journeys.
Howey Street was due to be closed between Worcester Road and Aitken Street from 23rd March for approximately 4 weeks. Works have not yet started - we'll let you know when they do.
Roadworks at the intersection of Melbourne and Kilmore Roads will significantly impact all GisBus services. The intersection is expected to be closed to all traffic with works commencing March 7th a completion date of July 11th, weather permitting.
School collections and drop-offs will be severely impacted. Please see here for more details.

Gisborne's Sunday Market has resumed, operating on the first Sunday of the month between 9.00am and 2.00pm, starting on February 6th.
During the market, some bus stops may not be accessible and traffic congestion may impact Sunday services. While every effort will be made to to keep to the Sunday timetable, please take the potential disruption into account in your travel plans.
All bookings by phone or online must be made before 8pm on the day before travel. Bookings made after this time cannot be guaranteed.

In 2009, Public Transport Victoria approved a permanent bus service for Gisborne. The service has since expanded:
> Route 473 - Gisborne Railway Station operates Monday-Friday excluding public holidays.
> Route 473W - Gisborne Railway Station operates weekends excluding public holidays.
